Paul E Briggs graduated from the University of Victoria Law School in 1997. He articled and worked with a top criminal defence firm in Vancouver, B.C. for the first five years before developing his own criminal defence practice.
He has defended every type of criminal cases and successfully argued them at every level of Court in British Columbia. He has appeared over 100 times in the BC Court of Appeal and conducted cases at the Supreme Court of Canada.
He is a Member of the Canadian Bar Association in both the Criminal and Immigration Sub - Section. He has appeared on television and radio in relation to cases in which he has been involved with the most recent being the case of Mr. Gurdev Singh Dhillon.
He wants to put his years of experience in Courtrooms all across British Columbia and Western Canada including Winnipeg, Manitoba to work for you and defending your criminal case.
He has also assisting many foreign nationals and permanent resident with criminal and immigration problems and understands the unique challenges and the necessary legal steps you need to take to stay in Canada and keep your status in the face of a criminal charge.
